John Merritt, MS, LCMFT

John Merritt received his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University. John provides counseling services to individuals (ages 17 and above), marriage/couples, and families. While John is trained in a variety of treatment approaches, ranging from short-term solution focused interventions to long-term interventions addressing childhood trauma, the foundation is always the same: listening and connecting with the client. John believes the catalyst to begin changing, tackling obstacles, and feeling better starts when someone feels understood and validated.

Prior to joining Andrews & Associates Counseling, John provided in-home therapy through the State of Kansas and counseled military at Fort Riley, Kansas.
