Services

As a solution-focused therapist, Jennifer’s goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapeutic approaches and techniques, Jennifer will help you unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, Jennifer looks forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Jennifer grew up in the North Central KS area and originally graduated from Kansas State University with a business degree. After working for 20 years in the IT division of a major retailer in Plano, TX, her passion for helping others led her to make a mid-life career change and she went back to school to obtain her master’s in counseling from CCU in Lakewood, CO. Since her graduation in 2012, Jennifer has worked for a large community mental health center in the Denver Metro area, as well as operating her own independent private practice in Aurora, CO. After several years in Colorado, she decided to make the move back to Manhattan, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends; reading; and traveling.

Jennifer is licensed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Kansas, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, and a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska. Jennifer is also a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH), which means she is trained in best practices for delivering behavioral healthcare through technological means.

Jennifer provides counseling to families, individuals, and couples dealing with a variety of concerns. In addition, she can assist individuals and families dealing with a developmental disability diagnosis.
