Tamika is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker who believes mental and spiritual well-being is never fully achieved without overcoming many obstacles. Tamika encourages clients to be motivated to make positive changes in their lives. Tamika partners with her clients to establish goals that will lead them on a journey of healing to improved self-esteem and emotional well-being. Tamika strongly believes wherever there is a human in need, there is an opportunity for her to show compassion and to make a difference in their lives.
Tamika earned her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. Tamika is a veteran of United Armed Forces. She earned a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Nevada. In 2015, Tamika completed her Master of Social Work degree from Fayetteville State University. Prior to becoming a social worker, she taught special education for 12 years.
