Services

Dr. Stephanie Wick is the owner of Andrews & Associates Counseling, where she brings years of clinical experience and a deep-rooted commitment to the mental health and well-being of the Manhattan, Kansas community. A long-time resident, Stephanie is married and a proud mother of three. Raised on a small farm in North Central Kansas, she carries with her the values of resilience, connection, and hard work that shaped her upbringing.

Stephanie’s path to mental health care was deeply personal. After experiencing a profound loss in 1999, she felt called to shift her focus from Apparel and Textile Marketing to Marriage and Family Therapy—a decision that would ultimately define her life’s work. She earned both her Master’s (2005) and Doctoral (2010) degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT).

With a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges, Stephanie has built a career around compassionate, evidence-based care. Under her leadership, Andrews & Associates Counseling has grown into a trusted and respected practice offering a broad range of services for healing and growth.

Stephanie specializes in working with clients on issues related to faith, identity, anxiety, depression, couples and marital therapy, life transitions, grief and loss, military life, and finding purpose. She also enjoys supporting professionals who are struggling with Impostor Syndrome and workplace-related stress.

Her therapeutic approach is both holistic and practical, rooted in the belief that mental and relational health begins with strong foundations in nutrition, movement, mindfulness or prayer, and meaningful connection. Stephanie emphasizes the importance of building resilience—not dependence—through therapy. She views diagnoses as tools for insight rather than identity and believes true growth often comes through friction. In her words, “True safety comes from knowing you can handle yourself in any space, not just the ones that feel comfortable.”

Stephanie integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities in her practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Family Systems, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

She offers a warm and supportive space where clients can explore their stories—not just their symptoms—and develop the strength to move forward with clarity and confidence. “Therapy isn’t about fixing you,” she says. “It’s about knowing you more deeply.”

In addition to her clinical work, Stephanie is active in the community as a board member for Konza United Way and a frequent speaker on topics such as faith, mental health, boundaries, grief, and end-of-life issues.
