Sarah is a LMSW and a graduate of Washburn University, receiving her graduate degree in Social Work. Prior to attending Washburn University Sarah received a degree in Psychology from Kansas University. Sarah has over 15 years of experience and has a diverse social work background serving clients as young as 6 months to as mature as 99 years of age.
She has served as an early interventionist, therapist, medical social worker, behavioral health consultant and most recently, a school social worker. Although each position varied greatly, one thing that remained constant is helping others identify their strengths and potential, as well as building relationships within the client’s support system.
Sarah’s passion is helping children and their families through life’s challenges through a Christian world view lens to help individuals and families become who God has created them to be. Sarah utilizes social focused, family systems and play therapy theory in her practice.
