Danesha currently accepts BCBS, Medicaid (Sunflower), and self-pay clients.
Danesha provides services for adolescents (ages 14+) and adults. Individual, couples, and group services are also provided.
Danesha has a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville). She is Licensed in the state of Tennessee and Kansas. Danesha has a bachelors in Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida which kicked started her 17-year work experience in the field of Social Science. While serving as a Probation/Parole Officer in the state of Tennessee, Danesha saw a greater work that needed to be done and leaped into the field of Social Work. She has worked in outpatient mental health clinics (children and adults), inpatient behavioral health facilities for active-duty service members/family members, and prison settings; all as a Case Manager. Experienced gained from working with individuals with various mental health diagnosis, PTSD, substance abuse, disabilities, and recent certification as a Master Resilience Trainer has paved the way to her life purpose as a Therapist.
Over the past 10 years, Danesha has had the honor of serving active-duty service members, family members, and veterans for the Department of Defense. With life experience of being a military spouse for almost 20 years, she welcomes the opportunity to work with others through the conflicts and challenges presented in life.
Outside of clinical work, you can find Danesha serving military personal and their families. She is most passionate about spending time with her family (husband, son, daughter, and English Bulldog) at a football or basketball game; and sometimes experimenting with recipes in the kitchen!
