Cory Richards, MS, LCMFT

Cory Richards is a graduate of the marriage and family therapy graduate program at Kansas State University. She and her husband are both from Manhattan and have three growing boys. Cory describes herself as a good listener, caring, transparent, flexible, collaborative, a question asker, empathic, and confident.

Cory uses an integrative model of therapy that she believes becomes cohesive through her personality, experiences, and her relationship with God. The core theories she uses in therapy are Bowen Theory and Cognitive-behavioral Theory (CBT).

Cory conducts general family therapy for individuals, couples, and families on issues related to relationships, depression, anxiety and many other presenting problems. She also has special rates for pre-marital counseling and is a certified SYMBIS facilitator. SYMBIS is a thorough pre-marital and marriage assessment that is grounded in research that will generate a report that has extremely practical application.
