Conrad sees clients in-person at Andrews’ Children's Clinic located in Manhattan. He also provides online sessions via Telehealth.
Conrad is currently accepting out-of-pocket payments but plans to eventually take Blue Shield of Kansas and Medicaid.
Conrad provides services for families, children (3+), adolescents, individuals (adults and older adults), and groups.
Conrad Schmechel is a graduate of Kansas State University where he received master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Drama Therapy. Conrad believes in cultivating a collaborative therapy environment and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, groups, and families. Conrad combines his more experiential, creative arts-based background with narrative and emotion-focused therapies. Recently, Conrad has recently provided care to clients living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, Adjustment Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
