Christine sees clients at our Andrews Junction City location and via telehealth.
Christine accepts self-pay clients and she is currently in the process of credentialing with insurance providers.
Christine provides services for individual adults and adolescents (12+), pre-marital, couples, and families.
Christine earned her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Liberty University’s graduate school and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to marrying and starting a family, she was a high school teacher and enjoys working with and learning from adolescents and young adults. After many years primarily working as a wife/mom, an unexpected and devastating loss prompted her decision to pursue a career in the clinical mental health field. She has come to see that we all carry a lot inside that others may not realize. She has personally experienced the incredible power of having someone come alongside to listen, provide a safe space to express emotions and words, and know they are not alone.
Christine’s journeys as a military spouse have most recently brought her to Fort Riley, Kansas. She has been married for over 20 years and has a son in college and a daughter in high school. Her background and life experiences have informed her practice, and she is passionate about working with people experiencing grief/loss, life adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life-adjustment issues, military family concerns, and overcoming life challenges. Her Christian faith has been an integral part of her personal healing and enjoys helping clients integrate their spirituality into the therapeutic work.
Approaching therapy from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, Christine is an eclectic therapist but uses CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy most often. She stresses the importance of seeing each individual, couple, or family as unique, and collaborates with clients to create an individualized treatment plan. Clients working with Christine can expect a warm and compassionate listener who will work together with them to accomplish their desired goals and stand solidly in their corner as they do so.
